The Show was Nuts!!!
GET LOOSE presented: "The Official Album Droppage Party", Friday, June 19th @ Club TSI (http://clubtsi.com/) located in downtown Jax @ 333 East Bay Street. The odds were against us but with all of your support we were able to pull off a show I think people will remember for a long time. So what did you miss out on if you didn't come? Here's just a few examples:
Community Photo taken out front of TSI including everyone who was there. (we'll have that up soon)
Dance Contest presented by NickFresh was nice. Spade was the crowd fav after an impressive B-boy set and walked away with a $20 Walmart card and a $10 Hess Gas card. 2nd place was a guy by the name of Sticks (sp?) who walked out with some gift cards himself and 3rd was a crazy dude named Adrock. Everyone also walked away with a copy of the new album as well.
Dres from Blacksheep was the surprise guest and as he made his appearance on-stage alongside Junkie he had some very interesting things to say about the scene here.... too bad you weren't there right?
Arsun F!st, Paten Locke, Willie Ev, J-Biz and many others melted faces on stage and left alot of people wondering how anyone could follow them, but of course your man Junkie came through and crushed dreams... don't worry though we got videos coming. Props to DJs SpaceMikeSpace, ZaneIII and NickFresh for keeping the vibe moving the entire night on the 1s and 2s as well.
We capped off the night with free pizzas for everyone (from "Arno's Pizza" on Crane Ave. if you're ever on the Southside) and a raffle that got the lucky winner Kevin a collection of albums by everyone who performed.
There's not much else to say, if you missed it make sure that doesn't happen again because the shows are only going to get bigger and better. Thanks to all who showed up, you made the show what it was.
By the way, I added some vids of Paten Locke, Arsun F!st and the stylistic dance moves of Nick Fresh. I'll keep the vids updated as the summer goes on so make sure to check em out.
There will also be a dvd of things collected and up for sale in a few months.

Note on the pre-order: After you pre-order "Grab What You Can" @ the online store you'll get the compilation album via e-mail within 24 hours. If you pre-order in person your free compilation album will be put on CD for you so you get a hard copy. Either way the "Grab What You Can" CD will arive in your mailboxes or hands June 9th.
The Official Launch Party is Friday, June 19th @ Club TSI (http://clubtsi.com/) located in downtown Jax @ 333 East Bay Street. The album droppage party is from 9pm-1:30am and the talent will include emcees Arsun F!st, Paten Locke (aka Therapy of The Smile Rays, Asamov, Black Gestapos, The Perceptionists) and featured DJs ZaneIII, SpaceMikeSpace and NickFRESH. This will be an evening like no other so Junkie will be expecting all of you to clear your calendars. There will be music, dance contests with prizes, free snacks, great prices on beer and wine, surprise guests, giveaways and plenty of copies of the album for sale. This isn't a concert or your average show, this is a party, so don't show up 3 hours after it starts or you'll miss out on some surprises and mystery guest appearances. Members of the facebook group have/will recieve an invitation to the party that will include a map with directions to the club if you're not already a patron to TSI.
